i bought a 23" display 6 months ago(with apple care). i love this thing to bits and i take very good care of it. i clean it about once a week with a cleaner i bought at the apple store when i got the display. my problem is i think once when i was cleaning i sprayed the cleaner right on the sreen(just a little) and it managed to get in under the screen. i didn't realize at the time but a big dark stain has developed in the top right hand corner of my beautiful screen! you can only see it with certan backrgrounds but it's sooo sad to see it at all.

question: would apple cover this? i feel like maybe i was dumb to squirt it on the display but you would think they would seal the edges where the screen meets the frame better. and when the screen gets hot it get darker.

i just want my perfect display back!

Not likely to be covered, I'm afraid. I also suspect that if you look in the manual they'll say never to spray cleaner directly onto the screen, probably for this very reason...

My 23" Cinema Display had a hair between layers of the LCD out of the box when I got it, which was really annoying. I was able to shake it back into the frame (top edge, of course), but a day or two later it had somehow fallen right down to the middle and wouldn't budge. At least I was able to get a replacement for THAT problem...
