System Prefs Crash When Choosing iTunes Screen Saver

Hey guys,

Has anybody ever encountered this problem?

Every time I choose the iTunes Album Art as my screensaver, system prefs crash.

Does anybody know what would cause this?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I have encountered this 'bug'.

It was a while ago so I don't remember the exact settings but it has to do with a setting in the iTunes Artwork Screen Saver.
I was able to reproduce in numerous times on multiple machines and configurations.
Something to the effect of having only 2 rows of albums or short delay or something is that setting.

To fix it :

Quit System Preferences...

Do a spotlight search for the preference file named something like this
com.apple.screensaver.iTunesArtwork.008124df6938.p list
(not exactly the name but it will start the same until the numbers)

It is located here:
/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/
ByHost/com.apple.screensaver.iTunesArtwork.008124di6938.p list

> Delete the file, and go back to System Preferences > ScreenSavers > You now have the default setting and everything should be working.

If you recall you exact settings let me know.

I was so worried my mac was screwed up.

And yes, I do remember setting it to a really short delay but do not recall how short.

Thanks again!!
