I came across
this hint at MacOSXhints.com about PowerPC-->Intel migration issues, and realized I hadn't thought at all about possible migration of non-intel plugins that may be affecting system performance.
Firing up Activity Monitor (in Utilities) and sorting by Kind, I came up with these five non-Intel programs. Eudora, of course, I knew about. I also remember installing iScroll once upon a time (the program is now long-gone, but I have to find the damn Daemon and trash it). But the three "server" processes? I wonder if these might be from an old VNC install that I had on my iBook that were migrated to my MacBook?
