I'm looking at getting a bigger HD for my macbook, how would I go about transfering all my data to the new drive, is there an easy way without using an external drive?
I did a format and saved all my systems files and such, but how do a do a FULL hard drive back up for transfering purposes? (i.e. transfer all my apps, music, pictures etc. so I don't have to reinstall.)
I also have a partition for bootcamp on my current HD as well.
If you don't want to get an enclosure for the old drive, but do want a device that will be of use for this backup as well as other testing and so forth, try this:
