I have a Sawtooth G4 400MHz, 384 MB Ram, 80 GB Hard Drive with OSX 10.3.9 on first partition of 65GB and on other partition 15 GB OS 9.2.2. I am running an ATI Xclaim VR TV video PCI video card (recently purchased brand new on Ebay.)
Video card works great in OSX as a computer video card. Card works great as a TV Video in and computer video card in when booted directly in OS 9.
However when I try to operate the card as a TV video in card on OSX desk top through "Classic" I encounter this error message:
"Xclaim Video Player cannot Locate ATI Video Digitizer. This Extension is required for Xclaim Video Player."
If I click on my OS 9 "hard drive" icon on the desktop and go to ->System Folder–>Extention Folder there is an extension entitled ATI Video Digitizer. However if I go under the OS 9 Desktop–>Apple Menu–>Contol Panels–>Extention Manger the ATI Video Digitizer Extension (control) panel is missing.
As mentioned above the TV/Video in works well in OS 9. Working through Classic would very convenient.
My question would anyone have any ideas if the ATI Video Digitizer can be placed in a folder so it will be available to work in Classic emulation or is this a situation of another OS9 application just not working through Classic?
