Help with AVI files!!!

I would like to be able to watch AVI files on my mac, but I don't know how. I would prefer to not have to pay to do this. Can any one help???

google "divx for mac" it should play the avi file.

Flip4Mac is a Plug-in for Quicktime that replaces Windows Media Player.
It's Free and it works excellent.
