New 4GB pink nano mp3 Skips

Hi I just got my 4GB pink nano a few days ago started using it now, I have a bunch of mp3s on it but for some reason 2 mp3's(So far havn't checked them all) won't play fully they seem corrupt. What happends is 23 minutes into the song it will just skip to the next song I tryed putting the mp3 on my ipod again but no luck. It doesn't do this when I play the mp3s in itunes. Anyone else have this problem?

The song is over 23 minutes long? Maybe the iPod doesn't play well with individual tracks that long. I know that they can be finicky about file size, perhaps file length as well?

You could try breaking the song up into smaller chunks, since iTunes 7 will just put them back together gapless but as several different tracks.

When you play the same song on itunes, does the song get quieter at that point? i'm wondering if the gapless playback is causing the skipping?

Although the offended party hasn't confirmed receipt (he hasn't said it hasn't come yet, either), and although the OP here apparently tried to make good (after a very extended period of 'making bad'), it does appear that karma is, as they say, a bitch.

P.S.: What did Apple say when you called/went to a store, about the pink nano?

First of all I do not believe in "Karma" eventually something bad would happen to me, and BrainJR did receive his iPod. I returned the Nano and got a new one, but I'm still having the same problem. My friend also has encounterd this problem with his 30GB video with certain songs. I think its the encoding.

Also for some reason I orderd express on brians ipod and I got the basic method for mine and I received mine first. I guess its sameday.ca
