Question iPhoto 06 won't install.

Hi,

currently running osx 10.4 on 12" PB G4 1.0 GHz
Running iPhoto 05

I HAD iPhoto 06 from the iLife package a few days ago, but decided to reformat my PB as it was over heating..

After my fresh install, I cant seem to reinstall the iPhoto 06 from the iLife 06 bundle.

I just want to upgrade the iPhoto as I don't really need/use any of the other updates and don't have the space for it all.

So when I click on the Customze button and only select iPhoto and hit Upgrade it asks for my Admin pass and then notifies that it will restart my machine and then when I click on Continue Installation it says "There were errors installing the software" and that's it. The Close button comes on and poof. nothing.

Help! Please..cuz I backed up the iPhoto folder and wish to get all my pictures back, I've put the folder back in the Pictures folder but it was using the iPhoto 06 before so the iPhoto 05 won't read the pictures now..

Unless I upgrade to iPhoto 06 I can't get them back.
Help!
Thanks

I'm no expert, but should you not run software update and upgrade to OS 10.4.6 first and THEN install iPhoto 06?

Mac OS X v10.3.9 or v10.4.3 or later; v10.4.4 recommended
You'll need to as Sinc said update Tiger before you can install iPhoto.

I have.
I've done all the software updates before trying to install it.
After installing iPhoto 05 from the iLife 05 CD, I even updated that.
when I go to software update, i have nothing else left to update.
