$650 as a starting point? I'd say a range from $550-$700. Especially now that we are seeing iBook G4 800's at very cheap prices (saw them going for $700-$900 on eBay). The G3 900's are actually pretty decent performers, and thats got a nice size hard drive and lots of RAM as well as an airport card (which are getting pretty expensive now). The new logicboard isn't necessarily a positive since G3 iBooks that have 1 failure usually have multiple ones while those that never fail are less likely to (from what I've heard).
Potential buyers will want to know about battery life (how long?).

The seller wantes $495 for it. Pretty good deal, then :-) I'm passing the ad on to a friend of mine who is in the market for a decent laptop that won't see any heavy-duty applications being used... just surfing and Word stuff, probably.
$495 is a really great deal! Especially when you consider the Airport card is worth around $100 on its own! Not to mention if it has a decent battery...
Only worrying thing is the logic board...but thats such a great deal, I think I'd go for it anyways. Even if the logic board does give out you can always sell of the parts and you'd probably only lose $100 or so.
