FileMaker Pro install CD issue

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone would know why a FileMaker Pro 8 CD would cause the Finder to quit on Mac G4 500 and 867 models but not on G5s.

I'm working on creating disk images to see if I can install that way.

Bloody Macs, a new way to **** me off each and every day.

Still, I'm thankful I don't have to do Windoze.

OK, even a disk image did not work. A disk image transferred to one G4 caused the same problem - Finder quit.

I hate this!!
