stupid window arrangement question

i seem to have made my firefox window 'snap-to' the left edge somehow, does anyone know how to do/control/enable/disable this?

Usually a window in any browser will open to its last known position. Try opening a window, do some surfing then relocate or resize the window then close it. Open a new window to see if it opens in the last known location/size. If that doesn't work, do the same thing and quit the application before re-opening. Hope that works for you.
