I recently got iLife 06 which I think is great but for one problem: when importing photos in iPhoto 06, I no longer get prompted about duplicates! I find this very frustrating as I don't always wipe my memory card and I definitely do not want to continuously import duplicates. I did not have this problem with iPhoto 05 (I was always prompted). If anyone has some suggestions about how to correct this or is also experiencing the same problem, please post a reply. Thanks.
Yep. Same problem here. Maybe it's only with certain cameras? Mine's a Canon A620. I've been meaning to file a bug report with Apple but haven't got around to it. I have no idea how to correct it, unfortunately.

Man that sucks. I will not upgrade just to avoid that little gem.

Could a plug-in cause such a problem? I've got Keyword Assistant installed, along with Flickr upload. Might try uninstalling those and see what happens.
