Airport Express Forgotten password?

Hi all,

I am moving to a larger space and need to add some networking and I have no problems with that. I have forgotten my airport express password to allow me to configure and all that good stuff.

Anyone have a tip on how to do this?

Cheers

I think there is a timy button you have to use a pen or something to push. I think if you hold it for 30 seconds it should do the trick. Im sure someone else know exactly how to do this though

I just did this earlier! Use a paper clip and push in the little reset button on top of the express for about 10 seconds until it flashes rapidly. It will change the name of the network to a default name and reset the pword to "public".

suggest you stick a label or piece of tape to the unit and write the password on it so this doesn't happen again

Thank everybody.

I actually did that as a backup and through hustle and bustle it must have fallen off.

Thx
