ripping one large mp3 using iTunes

I have a mixcd that is blended...so the tracks are mixed, and we all know the ipod has a nice little pause as it goes to the next track, is there a way when importing for it rip it as one large mp3? I know I could always get a third party prog but I just want to make things simplier...THANK!

use iMovie!

No one ever thinks of it but it is sooo useful.

Um. I think there is an option in iTunes when importing to band the songs together as 1. I can't remember how to do it now. I'll have a look for a link.
