Business Email without my computer

Hi,

I was wondering... I had to bring my Powerbook into the shop, so I'm currently on my sold powermac until the guy picks it up on Sunday. But after that, how am I going to check my email?

I don't knoow how long this fix is going to take - I smelt smoke after Disk Utilities crashed while I was tryin make a disk image to backup- so ...

I have a business email that I use with my domain. I have it set up in Mail, and it send out email via my sympatico address. So, if I have to go to a cafe or use a friend's computer, how will I be able to check it? It's never been an issue before, so I never thought about it.

Someone? Anyone?

OKay... I think I might have figured it out.

Is it possible to have my sympatico email account collect my business email, since the business email account is a pop account?

many web-based e-mail services offer a feature to "get other [POP3] mail" allowing you to configure and retrieve your business POP3 e-mail. If you wish to retain a copy for Mail once your PowerBook returns from repair, remember to utilise "leave on server."

Thanks Harryst for reminding me about the 'leave on server' option. That will definitley come in handy.
