I burned an avi movie to cd with toast 7.01

The avi file has sound when played on the computer, just like others like it however the end result ( video cd) has no sound when played on dvd where as the others have.


Anyone know why this might have happened?

There is an audio codec or something called MC3 {I think, I ran into this a few months ago} which is incompatible with Toast and or Quicktime.

Have not seem a solution, yet. AVI plays fine in Quicktime and VLC but disappears when converted to VCD or DVD

Check your Audio format and google it with toast

interesting, wonder why some avis work and this hasnt prob how ever it was coded, damit why cantthere just be 1 standard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
