help moving itunes
My freind has @ 2000 tunes saved on her ipod, and on an external HD . She recently upgrdaded to a G4 Imac, but doesn't know how to put the external drive as the iTunes default. Please advise. She will have the iPod, and the external drive, but how does she point to the drive?

Hi,
In iTunes click Preferences>Advanced and change iTunes Music Folder Location from there.
At least that's how it is in iTunes 4.7

Hi,
All you are doing is telling iTunes where to look for the music. No music will be lost. To do the change will be in the Preferences>Advanced, it's just that the wording my be slightly different from what I have.
No worries!
