kloan Honourable Citizen Join Date: Feb 2002 Location: Ventura, California Posts: 4,352	Powerbook emits loud high pitched noise I thought it was my external drive... but I have it turned off today, and sure enough I heard the same noise I've been hearing for weeks.. a loud high pitch noise emitting from what I suppose is my Powerbook now.. no idea where from though.. it's not like that quieter squeelch some people have noticed when the processor is set to high, this is louder and much more noticeable.. it happens a few times a day.. EDIT: mystery solved... it's the energy saver bulb in this room... Last edited by kloan; Jan 8th, 2006 at 04:30 PM.
