Network glitch with Tiger and Powerbook

I have a 12" Powerbook 1 ghz running Tiger. Airport is installed and getting online and printing works fine.

Yet whenever I try to network with my iBook or eMac, the window on the Powerbook flashes once then disappears and can't be brought back.

So far as I can tell, I have everything working fine because I can network from the iBook and the eMac.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

What window, specifically, disappears?

What router are you using?

Where are the Shared folders located?

Are the other two Mac wired, or wireless?

The window that disappears is the finder window showing the other Macs as servers.

Both the iBook and eMac are wireless working off an Airport Express router. I can connect to either using a new finder window's network icon in the upper left corner, but everytime I use the command-shift-K command or drop down network command, the finder window shows ever so briefly then disappears.
