Question DIY Adding Airport extreme card to mini? (possible?)

Have a basic mini and just bought and airport extreme card to add. Openned it up to upgrade ram and add card...but there is no spot. No problem google it. Find this:

http://www.topnotchblog.com/?p=105

and what macworld says

http://www.macworld.com/weblogs/edit...open/index.php

and i begin to realize that this will be a serious hack. Does anyone know if this is even possible with a stand alone card? Or has anyone actually tried this or done this??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

(otherwise i guess i will be posting a new extreme card for sale and sending this to an apple tech, which i have been trying to avoid since the beginning, as this is supposed to be my low cost toy)
