question about keyboard

My cat walked over my keyboard and changed the settings...ex. when i use a question mark it comes up as this: É does anyone know how I can change it back..im using a powerbook g4.

Yeah! Love it when they do that, eh?

All your cat did was change the language setting for the keyboard. If you already have different different keyboard layout settings up on your tool bar (represented as a flag. then just click the flag and scroll down to either the USA flag (10.3 and earlier) or the Canadian flag without CSA below it (tiger) - the CSA one is french Canadian. If you don't have this showing, simply go to System preferences and International. You can reset you keyboard layout there.
