MKV (Xvid) to AVI...etc...

I just saw the thread about DVIX to MOV and thought that I needed something to convert MKVs (xvid) to .avi or .mov or .mpeg or something that's more standard-like. Any suggestions of apps?

You might want to look at getting FFMpeg as you can go from various formats to others quite easily.
