Computer won't start. AHHHHHH!

I am running a Titanium PowerBook G4 1Ghz with 1GB RAM. I am having problems starting up my computer some times.

I was inserting my PCMI firewire card like usual. The computer froze. I was forced to force shutdown the computer. When I tried to turn it on again it won't do anything.

I heard some power turning but no apple startup beep. The CAPS lock and NUM lock buttons light up but thats about it.

I let the computer sit to cool and then tried it again. This time the computer booted normally. I then shutdown and tried to turn it on. I again was unable to boot. I let the computer sit for a while and then tried again. this time it turned on.

It inconsistency is what bugs me. Has anyone had this problem? Anyone know what to do?

Have you tried removing the card when you restart?

By the sounds of it.. it's definitely a hardware issue. I'd get it looked at by a professional if the symptoms occur.. you don't want to do any more damage.

This happens to me sometimes. I just press the reset button.
