iBook - how hot is too hot?

I'm have a new iBook G4 (1.42 GHz) on loan from Apple that runs very hot.
How high an internal temperature is too high?

According to the Dashboard widget I'm using, the battery is relatively cool (85 F) but the "processor bottomside" and other internal measurements (graphics card, hard drive, etc.) are between 120 and 135 degrees F. I'm no expert, but that's too hot, isn't it?

The tip off was a chronic problem with the trackpad (jerky movement) and loss of Airport signal that seem to be related to using the iBook for more than an hour, at which point the temperature is often above 120 F.

In my experience, PowerBooks and iBooks can run hot, but not like this.

Anyone?
Sandy

What surface are you using the iBook on? If it's your lap, or other non-hard surface, and the temperature in the room (area) is fairly high, the heat level is normal.

If, however, neither of the above apply, it's your call if it's too hot. Over the Internet, it's hard to judge what's too hot and what isn't. If you're really, overly concerned, get a technician to look at it.
