GPS Tom Tom Navigator installation on a Palm

Hi. I have been looking for a GPS system and came across a Tungsten E2 with a Bluetooth GPS and Tom Tom navigator software for $469 at Costco. Good price for a complete GPS and Palm. However I’ve been having quite a time installing the Navigator software and maps. The instructions for Macs in the kit and on the support sites for Palm and Tom Tom are virtually non-existent. Having no instructions I stumbled around and figured out how to downloaded the program and maps to the Palm. Or so I thought, the Navigator won’t work. Phoned Palm support only to be told it’s not their problem. I submitted an email to Tom Tom and am waiting for a reply. Googled for help but couldn’t find anything specific. Does anyone out there have a Tom Tom/Palm software for Dummies kind of answer or suggestions on a book? I am running 10.4.2 on a G5 tower. The supplied software is the latest and is Mac compatible.
Thanks, Glen

This might help you although I couldn't get the mac installer to work properly on my powerbook and had to use my PC to install it.

Yes it's on a Treo message board but it should still apply to your situation.

Thanks for the link. I found out I had put to much on the card and hand held. Once I deleted some stuff the program began to work. However the code activation site for the Tom Tom GPS software has been down the last couple of days for maintenance and I can't check to see if the GPS/Palm works. Sheesh!
