I keep losing audio when I convert a .mpg to .mov

This is to those who can give me the secret I'm missing ... I'm using Sorenson Squeeze to convert a .mpg to a .mov file (and or a .flv) for streamed video in Flash and every time I do it I lose the audio portion of the movie.

What am I doing wrong?

or .. is there another suggestion to bring a .mpg file to be played in Flash? I'm completely open to suggestions as this is starting to drive me bonkers

You're not doing anything wrong per sé, it's just that MPEG files are different than MOV files -- MPEG interleaves the audio/video into one file where MOV files actually have separate tracks.

Anyway, I'd like to get into more details (I'm on my way out the door) but have you tried this: http://homepage.mac.com/major4/

Manny, I didn't try what you pointed to but I tried the link and still no success because all the pieces aren't there ... and this is beyond what I understand so maybe a few pointers?
