Toshiba wireless LCD Projector

A friend just purchased a Toshiba SW25 wireless projector to work with his new 17" powerbook. Turning the projector on, the airport instantly recognizes the new computer to computer network, yet we don't seem to be able to send information back to the projector. The projector manual and info seem to be directed to a PC installation, complete with a projector configuration tool on the enclosed CD but not visible to the Mac. Can anyone provide me with suggestions or instructions to get the projector operating?

The first thing we did was call the Toshiba help line They listened to our query and said that it sounds like a question for APPLE. They said that clearly, the projector is communicating with the computer because it shows up on the Airport list, as it should. There must be a computer set up to enable the computer to communicate with the projector. They are clearly not familiar with Macs.

Most wireless projector schemes require some kind of driver software to work over the 802.11 link. There may be some device that you can plug into the powerbook's monitor output that will enable you to hook up to the projector wirelessly. Otherwise, you may be limited in using a VGA cable connection with this particular projector.
