Logitech MX1000 Help

i have the logitech Mx 1000

i was wondering if there is a way to program the thumb buttons to change songs on itunes while working on other program.

usually you have to click on itunes for it to work

i wonder if you can have it work no matter what program you are on

thanks

Are you using Logitech's Control software? (If you are, I don't believe it allows you to customize it to run an AppleScript.)

If not, there is a program called USB Overdrive that you could set up to run an AppleScript that would do just that. (Finding a script that would change to the next song or the previous song is one line and easy to find.)
