Question Adapter Cards for G5?

Hi Friends
Just in case my ACARD adapter card doesn't work out, even with 10.4.2,
I am wondering if you can recommend a PCIX adapter card for running external FireWire drives off my G5.
Apparently, MacAlly had a 6 port FW adapter card , but it's recently become unavailable.

wait, the g5 has 3 FW ports. 2 400's and 1 800. and drives allow daisy chaining...

isnt that enough?

Geez, I was just not thinking. This is embarrassing! Yeah, I think three should do it, including daisy chaining

*slinking away, head down, eyes darting from side to side...*

(Thanks, gnatsum)

What I meant was an adapter card for running more drives mounted internal.
Sorry!

meh it's okay, so you still looking for a FW card that provides internal ports?

you already have drives that support FW and are internal?

cuz, i believe SATA is faster if you want internal storage...

Thanks again, gnatsum!
Here's my situation: I have about 1.5 terabytes worth of ATA hard drives, and I was hoping to save the bigger ones by putting 2 or 3 of them inside my G5 DP 2.3.
(I'd put them all in, but tests are showing 2 or 3 still allow for decent cooling and less fan acceleration)
So I'm looking for a PCIX adapter card to allow my ATA drives to run inside this G5. I bought the ACARD adapter card, but it isn't working yet and ACARD is saying not til 10.4.2 will it work.
But I'd like an option or two just in case .2 comes out and the ACARD is still not working.
I will likely go ahead and set up a few external drives too.
