anyone else having a problem with CS operating very poorly and running really slow. Instead of taking about 15 seconds to open it now takes about 2 minutes. Overall it is very unsettleing. Also my processing % on konfabulatr is always reading about 50% when it used to go to abotu 4% when inactive. Seems very strange.

CS is a suite of programs - which one in particular are you having problems with?

Since my Tiger upgrade, I've used Illustrator CS and Photoshop CS - they seem to run about the same as they did in Panther - certainly nothing like you're experiencing. Must be something else wrong.

I'm very happy with photoshop CS1, but I did download the photoshop CS2 demo and it seems quite a bity slower under tiger.

If you're running Konfabulator when you're running Adobe CS and it's using 50% of your processor, I think that might explain why Adobe CS is running like crap.

Lars - the stater of the obvious ... sometimes I think you just do that to pad your post count and I think he's talking about the widget that states the processor load, not the two together.

First Konfabulator's CPU widget is buggy, a better CPU monitor is from Menumeters.

As for Tiger and Adobe CS try running the program under a new user, you may see a big difference. If you just installed Tiger (which I'm sure you have), did you fix your permissions before hand? You have have amplified an existing problem by installing Tiger. Run Cocktail (new revision for Tiger) to fix these issues.
