I *think* I have a problem with one of Tiger's screen savers... I'm wonderin' if anyone else has had the same issue so far.

Upon first viewing of screen savers available in 10.4, the first one to choose if memory serves me, was for displaying the computer name, with part of an Apple logo in the lower left of the screen. Saw the preview, but never used it.

I ended up leaving the system on the iTunes covers screensaver, and upon reviewing screensavers again last night, whenever I select Computer Name, I get prompted to select a file (?)

Reviewing the system folder, under library\screen savers, I see that a Computer Name file does not exist. Is it me? Or is something broken here?

Did you open the screen savers from the System Pref. pane or by option-clicking the desktop?

I ask as I have the same problem in the 10.3.9 version of Panther (I think). If I choose "Change Desktop Background..." by option-clicking the desktop, the Computer Name screensaver is "missing" and I am prompted for a folder / file. If I choose the Desktop & Screensaver icon from System Preferences, everything is fine.

Maybe Apple introduced a bug in 10.3.9 and it followed to Tiger?
