Safari Help

Does everyone have problems with safari,
Is there an alternative to this.
Mine keeps slowing down and my pc loads up way faster on the same conection,
And I also noticed that it wont open all pages like my pc,
Is there another internet to use that is better han safari

Safari is a slow loader. Point and fact. Mozilla's firefox is much faster. But there are some ways to speed up safari quite well.

That's a little article that might help you out. It sped up my Safari quite a lot.

Hey Vexel, I tried that and it did work great. Curious though, does it have to be done after a shutdown or is it permanet? I generally leave my pb on sleep but will reboot about once a week or after an update.

You only need to quit Safari. The command string modifies its default seetings. Since you can't do that while Safari is running, you need to quit the app. No need to turn off the computer. Since the change is written into the preferences, it's permanent, or at least permanent until another command is issued.

You can alaways restore the default setting by typing, in Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitInitialTimedLayoutDelay -float 1.0
