Here is what happened:
I installed Onyx to perform optimization. Prior to running Onyx, I was able to go to such sites as
http://omnivox.collegeahuntsic.qc.ca...f=200937723721 and log in without any trouble for at least 4 months.
As soon as I ran Onyx, I restarted, and went to check my grades at the address listed above, and poof, it crashed. (quits on me). I decided to repair permissions the old way (with disk utility), restarted, and still, I am getting the same results, and this, for the last month.
I tried uninstalling Onyx, then repairing permissions through Disk Utility, and I was still crashing.
It seems as though the issue happens on Java heavy pages, such as
www.candystand.com as well as other Java pages.
I know my system handles it well, because I can access the same pages with Camino
I am using:
iBook G3 300
572 Mb ram
30 Gig HD
Safari 1.2 (V125)
Camino
OS X 10.3.7 updated
Any help would be appreciated !
Thanks
JF
BTW, I also uninstalled and reinstalled Safari !
Cheers !
