Charging ipod in case
I have a 4g in a Contour Designs Showcase, should I remove the ipod when charging?

As long as it has a hole for the cable to pass through, do it. I don't think there are heating concerns, if that is what you are getting at.

My wife has a Marware case and she charges it in the case all the time.
