iPhone 6 iMessage suddenly not working!!

Not sure why, but recently my iMessages to any one on an iPhone have not been working. Instead of blue, the message bubbles are green.

It's telling me to turn on cellular data (which is already on) or wifi. The switch for iMessage keeps prompting that error and reverts back to being off.

I did power down and reboot, but still not working.

Any ideas for a solution?

If a restart didn't fix it, you may need to contact your carrier. The screenshot indicates you don't have data service, either as a result of a signal issue, an issue with your phone, or an issue with your account.

Only other option to try before contacting them would be to reset the network settings on the device.

I posted the wrong pic. I turned off my data and then put it back on.

This pic attached now, is actually what I should have posted. LTE is there, yet saying I'm not connecting.

No worries. Yeah that's the problem, it won't let me switch it over. It moves to the on position but automatically moves back to the off position, then gives me that prompt to turn on cellular data or use wifi. My data is on.

Did you recently upgrade the iOS? Perhaps a glitch if you did?

In any case, I would try a restore using iTunes to see if it might correct the issue.

Unfortunately, one will still end up with the most recent upgrade if using Apple's restore method it seems.

The latest iMazing backup/restore version keeps and allows the use of the older iOS apparently, JFYI.

Yep, it will, but my point was that there is sometimes a bad install creating the glitch he has, and a restore via iTunes will sometimes correct a poor install and solve the issue.
