Question Files From Old User Library To New User Library

My old user account became corrupted. It got so bad that the finder became so slow, it started crashing. Added a new user account, and the problem is gone. At this moment I'm transferring all personal files to my new account via the shared folder.

My question is, what is the best way to transfer files from the old user library, to the new user library?

I'm concerned about transferring any corruption.

Best way? Don't.

Figure out what you need, and export it from the application in question. Moving ~/Library files will transfer corruption if not done carefully and with lots of testing.
