My iBook of 1 year and 7 months has developed a buzzing noise. I believe it is the hard drive as things take forever to load after I rebooted and you can hear something 'chugging'.

Is this sort of thing covered by applecare? I am under the impression that applecare covers workmanship, but this looks like a thing of dying from regular use.

Thanks

A failing hard drive would most certainly be covered
