manufactured by "Anycom", will not allow me to activate more than one device at a time (either my mouse or keyboard) anybody have a cure for this problemo?
I'm using it on a Flat panel 1.25 ghz Imac, running 10.3.5
Is this the ANYCOM Blue USB-100 USB Adapter, USB-120, or USB-240 adapter? The first one is only Bluetooth 1.1 spec compliant, and it's a Class B 20-metre range device. The 120 and 240 models are Bluetooth 1.2 compliant, and the 120 specifically states it supports up to 7 devices. The 100 model seems to be very limited, according to its web info.
I have a G4 ibook (Panther) without bluetooth and am looking at getting a new cellphone - I see from your links that I can buy a blutooth to USB convertor so I can actually look at bluetooth phones, this is great - any advice anyone? I'm currently with Bell, but am looking at Rogers too. Has anyone got any experience with this sort of thing in the Sarnia, Ontario area who could give me some advice? I want the phone to integrate with my address book and iCal, but don't want to pay a fortune for the phone either!
thanks!
Iwaa, there are several BT phones that work flawlessly with a Mac including models from Sony Ericsson and Nokia. The T616 and T637 from SE have cameras too. Rogers has the T637. The BT Nokia's are a bit trickier to buy but will soon be more widely available. There are several BT dongles on the market. I'm not sure its worth trying to save a few bucks on this given that some people have had problems with the cheaper versions. There were some recommendations and testimonials on another thread.
