Hi all,

An old teacher of mine is having problems with his 1st Gen 5GB iPod. The hard drive is spinning in the iPod (u can feel it when u restart the iPod), and the iPod is sucessfully updating itself with the computer. however, NOTHING is showing up on the screen. I fear the worst (The screen is dead), but I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem.

Thanks All!.

Eric
