Please walk me through exactly how to make a copy of a dvd movie onto another cd with my ibook. Thanks.

It's more trouble than it's worth go buy a legitimate copy at your local vendor.

Do you mean copying a DVD onto a DVD-R?

You need a Super drive and a copy of DVD2ONE X and a decryption program like DVD Backup.

Use DVD Backup to rip the Disc
Then use DVD2OneX to shringk the info to 4.4GB so it will fit on a DVD-R. (if you invest in a dual layer burner you can skip this step.

And then you will need Toast to burn the info to a DVD-R in the UDF format.

You should only backup discs you own (which is completely legal).

touchy subject, but goobernational's right.

that's my method for backing up dvds.

do you mean hollywood-type dvds, or something created on iMovie?
