hi folks.

i recently purchased a 3g 30gig ipod off someone from macrumors. they included the ipod remote which they claim was never used.

when i use the remote, i can only hear music from the right earbud. i've tried the supplied apple earbuds, as well as my sonys and i always get the same problem. if i dont use the remote and plug directly into the ipod, it sounds fine.

anyone ever encountered this? or know what could be causing the problem.

all the connections are tight and snug, so i dunno what's going on...
