Question

I won't bore you with the details of the continuing problems I'm having with Safari, but I want to get rid of the app for a clean reinstall as well as clean up any information on my personal profile/login account that could remind Safari that it was ever installed...

I would also like to check if my login account is corrupted in any way as Safari behaves propperly when I create a new user.

So far I have cleared the cache/reset/reinstalled the app/trashed the pref., to no avail AND when I reinstall, Safari remembers my old home page.

So how do I NUKE that app and check my account? I still have my Panther disks or I can download from apple.com (it's not clear if that download is a full install or an upgrade).

Thanks

Don't forget to nuke possible delinquent keychain items via the keychain access utility.
