hey, wonding anyone has any info on this, i've bought an emac and so far 3 different sticks of pc-133 ram haven't worked, this is very odd, One of the sticks is pc100 but it's kingston! so this should work fine, but it doesn't.

on sites like CPUSED they say emac in the same catagory as G4, and G3
even on the apple website it's listed as the same, Whats going on here?

I think i'm going to call apple up and ask before i have to pay to ask

My e-macs got PC133U-333 SDRAM.

That's probably what it should be, you might wanna make sure that's what you're using.

Any PC-133 SDRAM should work in your eMac. If it doesn't, it's either because it's not installed properly or because the RAM you're using is dead.

I have another friend who was having problems with Kingston RAM, but it kept crashing his system. Maybe you should take it up with Kingston.

FYI - There's no such thing as Apple-branded RAM.

Are the PC-133 SDRAM DIMM's your using double-sided or single-sided?
