just partitioned my hd using disk utility in 10.2.8
When i made the partitions i made sure all of the os9 boxes were checked as well.
Am I done?
Is it now formatted?
I can see them all on my desktop.
One more thing. How do i hide the drive icons from my desktop?

Dear zigzagry,
Yep, I believe you are done. Congrats!
As far as hiding the drives, just go to the top menu bar (in Finder) and select Finder/Preferences. There, you should see options for showing the drives on the desktop.
Enjoy!
Noodleboy.

Your done. To hide the icons, click on the desktop, from the menubar select finder/prefs. Under general, uncheck Hard Disks.

I don't think you can do that but try hiding them all and then dragging the one you want to the desktop to make a shortcut of it.
