I had a major crash today...

Now I can't open certain programs, including Quicktime Player, Disk Utility, and System Preferences. Even the right side of the menu bar is missing (time, volume, etc.)

At first it did nothing when I tried to open them, then I tried moving them to a different location, which brought about the error:

You cannot open the application "System Preferences" because it may be damaged or incomplete.

Reinstall time?
