I can't send mail with Rogers and X.3...help!

Hey all!

I just got Pantherized and everything is running smoothly and very well.

But for some reason, I can't send mail. I use Rogers as my 'net provider, and all my settings are correct, but I still get an error message when I try to send mail.

Anyone else having this problem?

Please help!

are you using a fully qualified out going mail server or just "smtp"?
just smtp is supposed to work but you may need get rogers to give you the full name of the outoing mail server

give 'em a call and find out

I did call Rogers, and the guy was useless. We tried the full outgoing mail server name, and it didn't work.

What should I do?

Do you have User Authentication with name and password filled out and do have the box checked above that?

Make sure you SMTP authentication checked...
