Extending a wireless network with Airport Express

I'm looking to wirelessly extend a non-Apple wireless network with an Airport Express. I know this can be done, however my question is this.

Once the credentials of the wireless network are entered into the Airport Express, does it remember them? For example, if I move my Airport Express to extend another wireless network and then move it back to wireless network #1, will I have to re-enter all the information again into the Airport Express?

I hope that question makes sense. I have searched and searched and can't find an answer. I'm looking to possibly use an Airport Express as a mobile wifi extender for some radio work I'm doing. Will be travelling to different sites and visiting the same sites frequently. Would be nice to have a plug and play solution and not have to re-enter the network information each time.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Are you going to be using your Mac w/ Airport Utility to switch wireless networks?

I don't think the passwords get stored on the Express itself, but there is a checkbox when extending a network. 'Remember this password in my keychain'

So I'm going to assume it stores passwords in the keychain on the device you are using to update the Express with.

I'm not sure that I understand your question/problem correctly, but doesn't your Mac's OS have a wireless "Location" option setup that can be used for various "location" setups that can then be selected for the desired location setup you do or might use?

You will have to re-enter the info each time you change wireless networks.
