I have been trying to link (Appletalk) my 5300c to my iMac 233 using this "new" technology called Infrared.
I can't get it to work no matter what I try. Can anyone walk me through this. I am running OS 9.1 on both systems.

just took a quick look at Mac Secrets which says that the 5300 (I've got to assume you mean pb not performa) will only use IRTalk not the standard IRDA. The 1400 also has this restriction.
How's that?
