MacWorld Canada to meet with Apple about iPhone announcements

Hey everyone,

I'll be meeting with Apple execs from Cupertino tomorrow outside Toronto about the iPhone announcements made at WWDC yesterday. I'll find out some more about what's in store for iPhone users upgrading to 3.0 and those looking to get a 3GS.

If you have any questions you'd like me to ask on your behalf, I'd be happy to do so.

I'll also be speaking to Rogers as well, and hope to get some information from them on what we can expect on their end. Same deal. If you have questions, I'll gladly ask for you.

Thanks!

Yes, I would like to know if we will be able to purchase an unlocked model at an unsubsidized price?

Since i would be kind of stuck (it's not like it sucks) ,I would like to see some video capture capability for the current 3g. In no way do I expect it to be as good as the 3GS but I would like to see some of the features available for current model.

As I've pointed out in other threads, you can already do this. All you have to do is jailbreak the iPhone and use Cydia or The Installer to locate a video recorder.

This question isn't about the iPhone, but you mentioned in another thread that you're meeting with some other Apple execs soon, so here's a question a user asked me and I don't know the answer to:

Will Snow Leopard support Rosetta and thus PPC apps that run under it? My guess is "no," but I'd like to get a definitive answer if possible. Thanks.
