scared myself - 1.0.2 lockup!
last note I tried to install WiFi, an installer app - and my 1.0.2 iPhone locked up... Wouldn't start till I forced a restart - which got me the Apple icon - & nothing else.
Never changed, iTunes would't mount it -- nada! Was pretty upset, but this am Briker mounted the iPhone and it then restarted just fine... I think maybe I have to think about upgrading to 1.1.1... Ageement, lads -- is this the end for 1.0.2??? Jim |

moved from 1.0.2 to 1.1.2 a few moons ago, with no major issues at all. besides having to revirginize, it was relatively straightforward. i would recommend, but you need to know the full history of your phone (i.e. baseband versions, unlock methods, etc.)
